Isle of Dogs

A stop-motion animation set in a slightly futuristic Japan, where an outbreak of canine flu leads all dogs to be quarantined on a remote garbage island. A young boy journeys there to rescue his dog, Spots, and gets help from a pack of misfit canines who have also been exiled. His quest inspires a group of dog-lovers to expose a government conspiracy. With voices provided by a galaxy of stars (including Bill Murray, Harvey Keitel and Tilda Swinton), this is a funny and touching film, full of heartfelt warmth and wit.
